About CCMRS

CCMRS is a unique community comprised of a caring staff, working with a dedicated Board of Directors, and many individuals and organizations who support its programs and services. Our mission and purpose — to provide a Christ-centered, supportive community for adults with developmental disabilities — is firmly grounded in our shared conviction that what we do is first and foremost a ministry. As such, it is our theology which becomes the foundation for our philosophy of operation.

About Our Faith Tradition

Being part of the Mennonite/Anabaptist faith tradition, our theology, and thus our philosophy, is very much centered on "community." You will notice, for example, in all our programs, CCMRS strongly emphasizes the importance of a supportive community. We believe it is within the context of a supportive community that our programs become most effective; that it is the direct interaction with peers and support staff which most efficiently teaches basic living and social skills.

Supporting CCMRS

Although CCMRS receives funding from Central Valley Regional Center and collects minimal program fees, additional funds are needed to maintain facilities, achieve goals, and fulfill its mission. For these additional funds CCMRS relies on the prayers and generosity of its faithful supporters.
